Slovenia Average Temperatures

If you are contemplating visiting Slovenia then you should be aware that Slovenia weather is at its most pleasant and welcoming between May and October; the period is the warmest and driest in the country, with temperatures averaging a gentle 70 F/21 C, and even milder in the evenings. If however, trekking in the mountains is in your list, then a sweater should be in your bag pack at all times. Also keep in mind that in July and August Slovenia tends to be swarmed my tourists, making the shoulder periods a better alternative.

In contrast, conditions become considerably colder during the winter season. The Alpine area experiences frequent snowfall and the coast is windy and very damp.
